ALTA ENDORSEMENTS 22-06, 22.1-06

I. Purpose:

The ALTA 22 series of endorsements is for use with improved real property and
provides assurance that the insured land contains a designated improvement located
at a specific street address at Date of Policy.

The ALTA 22 series of endorsements may be issued with owner’s and loan policies.

II. Coverage Provided:

a. ALTA 22-06 (Location): Insures that the land described in Schedule A of the policy
contains the designated improvement at a specific street address as of the Date
of Policy.

b. ALTA 22.1-06 (Location and Map): Coverage provided by the ALTA 22.1-06 is
nearly identical to coverage provided by the ALTA 22-06; however, the 22.1-06
includes the added assurance that the location and dimensions of the insured
land are accurately shown on a map attached to the policy.

III. Title Tips:

a. The blank after "known as" is for the street address. Confirmation that the
designated improvement is located at a specific street address may be obtained
through tax records, a recent survey, or other means.

b. In connection with the ALTA 22.1-06, a copy of the map or survey relied on to issue
the endorsement is attached to the policy.

c. An ALTA/NSPS survey depicting the improvement on the land is relied upon to
issue this endorsement.
