ALTA 10
Assignment Endorsement
An ALTA 10 is issued upon assignment of a mortgage and insures the new assignee of record against
loss sustained by: (1) failure of the assignment document to properly transfer title; and (2) the
existence of a prior modification, partial or full reconveyance, release, or discharge of the Insured
Mortgage recorded in the Public Records on or prior to the Date of Endorsement, other than those
shown in the policy or a prior endorsement. This endorsement is available for loan policies only.
