ALTA 36.6

Energy Project - Encroachments

The ALTA 36.6 endorsement provides coverage for loss or damage arising out of encroachments of
improvements located on adjoining land onto the Insured land, encroachments of existing Electricity
Facilities, or Severable Improvements, or those to be constructed according to plans onto adjoining

land, enforced removal of or damage to any existing Electricity Facilities, or Severable Improvements,
or those to be constructed according to plans, loss or damage to an Electricity Facility or Severable

Improvement as a result of its encroachment onto an easement; in the event the owners of the
easement force the removal of the Electricity Facility or Severable Improvement pursuant to a
right of use or maintenance contained in the easement. The insurer can except from coverage any

identified encroachment appearing in Schedule B. It also excludes from coverage loss or damage
arising from contamination, explosion, fire, vibration, fracturing, earthquake, or subsidence. This

endorsement is available for owner’s and loan policies.
