ALTA 36.1-06
Energy Project - Leasehold/Easement - Loan
The ALTA 36.1 is the loan counterpart to the ALTA 36 and is to be issued for policies that insure
an easement or an easement and a lease. It contains an additional defined term, “Tenant,”
which is defined as the tenant under a lease, the grantee under an Easement, or the Insured,
if it acquires the Title in accordance with the policy. The balance of the endorsement reads
the same as the ALTA 36 with additional coverage tailored to the Insured Lender in the event it
acquires all or any part of the title. This endorsement is available for loan policies only.
