ALTA 40-06

Tax Credit – Owner’s Policy

The ALTA 40 endorsement provides coverage against loss or damage sustained by a “Tax Credit
Investor”, as defined in the endorsement, which is caused by a matter that is otherwise insured
against by the policy. If a loss occurs, the Insured assigns to the Tax Credit Investor that portion of

any claim’s payment required to compensate for the resulting reduction. This endorsement does not
insure the ownership or amount of the Tax Credit and does not insure that the Land or the Tax Credit

Investor is eligible or entitled to a Tax Credit. This endorsement is available for owner’s policies only.
