ALTA 41.1-06

Water – Improvements

The ALTA 41.1 endorsement provides coverage against enforced removal or alteration of certain
improvements due to the exercise by a water rights estate owner to use the surface of the Land
to extract water. “Improvement” is defined as the building(s) located on the Land at Date of Policy

and is expanded to include as other improvements affixed to the Land at Date of Policy, including
walkways and parking areas, but excluding coverage for crops, landscaping, lawns, shrubbery, or

trees. This endorsement is available for both owner’s and loan policies.
