ALTA ENDORSEMENT RETURN TO TABLE OF CONTENTS

        ALTA 28.2-06

Encroachments - Boundaries and Easements - Described Improvements

The ALTA 28.2 insures the Insured against any loss or damage because of encroachments of
Improvements located on the Insured Land described in the policy onto adjoining land, or from
adjoining land onto the Insured Land unless a Schedule B exception identifies the encroachment.

Further coverage is provided for any loss or damage due to the enforced removal of an Improvement
located on the Land, which encroaches upon any easement affecting any portion of the Land, or

the enforced removal of an Improvement located on the land which encroaches onto adjoining
Land. Unlike the ALTA 28 and ALTA 28.1, there is no definition of the term “improvement” in the ALTA
28.2. This version of the endorsement allows for customization when the insured is seeking special

coverage against those improvements specifically itemized in the “fill in the blank” Section 2 of the
endorsement. This endorsement is available for owner’s and loan policies.
