ALTA 29-06

Interest Rate Swap Endorsement – Direct Obligation

The ALTA 29 endorsement provides coverage for loss or damage arising out of the invalidity,
unenforceability, or lack of priority of the lien of the Insured Mortgage as security for certain
repayment obligations under an interest rate exchange agreement (“Swap Obligation”). This

endorsement is used when the Insured Mortgage directly secures the Swap Obligation, and the
lender does not require an additional amount of insurance dedicated to the coverage for the Swap

Obligation. This endorsement is only available for loan policies.
